About Me

Screenwriter Logan McDonald writes because he’s always been gifted at making up nonsense and needs money to support his massive addiction to breathing. His writing leans toward medium dark with a dash of realism as he tries to stick as close to believable as he can. He would never write a vampire that sparkles, unless the pay was very good and he was allowed to use a nom de plume. While Logan knows how to wear a suit, he prefers a T-shirt and jeans any day, which his budget finds very agreeable.

Logan recently graduated with a BFA in Creative Writing from Full Sail University, and is currently working on spec scripts and spec pilots for half-hour sitcoms in order to apply for positions in writer’s fellowship programs. In the future, he plans to run his own show, which he will do from a defunct oil platform off the coast of California dubbed The Kingdom of Logania.

From his auspicious beginning (he was almost born in a car during an Alaskan snowstorm), Logan has endeavored to live a life that would make Jonathan Goldsmith proud. He’s climbed Mt. Fuji, taken golf lessons on the coast of Ireland, and sung drunken karaoke on an Air Force base in Kyrgyzstan. Experiences that are all fodder for the remarkable stories he creates.
